Pearl struggled finding healthy food in Kigali and had no clue what to eat. But her life changed in 2014 when she changed her lifestyle by eating healthy and exercising at least 3-4 times a week. Since then, she has developed a love for cooking healthy delicious food. This passion inspired her to open a healthy food company that makes healthy smoothies, juices, sandwiches, salads, and more.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, fresh, and healthy nutritious food that is tasty at an affordable price and easily accessible. We want it to be convenient for our customers. We want our customers to feel good and energized after eating our foods and always come back for more. Our foods are made with whole food ingredients that are diverse to give the customer a balanced nutritious meal. The Goal of Yummy-N-Fresh is to create a business model that is scalable and branded. We aim to improve the way people view healthy eating in Kigali and across Africa.
Where it Began
Yummy-N-Fresh was birthed in her parent’s home kitchen. What began as a passion project soon took shape, laying the groundwork for the restaurant you know today. Those first dishes, crafted with love and ambition, marked the start of our culinary journey.
Our journey took an exciting turn as we opened a snack bar at at Westerwelle Start Up Haus
Kigali. What began in a home kitchen two years prior had now found a niche, serving our healthy juices and snacks to young entrepreneurs in the space. This new chapter was a testament to our growth and the love our patrons had for our offerings.
Yummy-N-Fresh embarked on yet another milestone. We proudly opened our doors at our
current location at SP Ishema. Nestled in the central business district opposite Ubumwe Grande Hotel, this move symbolized not just our growth, but our commitment to bringing our healthy food to Rwandans.
